Dr. Charles M. Balch is a distinguished surgical oncologist with over 50 years of experience and a leading authority in melanoma, breast cancer, and immunotherapy. He has authored over 850 publications cited more than 36,000 times and has lectured in over 46 countries worldwide. Dr. Balch is the founding Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of Annals of Surgical Oncology and has held major leadership roles at institutions including MD Anderson, UAB, and City of Hope.
