About Me
Dr. Sylveria Olatidoye began her academic journey at Howard University in Washington, DC, where she completed her undergraduate studies. She went on to attend Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after earning a competitive medical scholarship through the “Healing Team” Program. She later completed her medical degree at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Olatidoye completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Maryland Medical School in Baltimore. She launched her career as a Family Medicine physician in 1994 and has since practiced in diverse regions across the United States. She currently serves as a lead physician with Kaiser Permanente in the metro Atlanta area. Dr. Olatidoye is board certified in both Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and an active member of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, where she previously served on the Membership Committee. Throughout her career, she has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions for her dedication to patient care and clinical excellence.
A passionate advocate for global health, Dr. Olatidoye has long viewed medical missions as the heart of her calling to medicine. She is an active member of the African Christian Fellowship and Arms of Care International, two mission driven organizations through which she travels annually to provide medical care and share the gospel of Christ in underserved communities around the world.
Outside of her professional and mission work, Dr. Olatidoye is a devoted wife and mother to her two children, David and Sarah. She is an intercessor, a woman of deep faith, and someone who strives to live out her purpose with compassion, humility, and grace.
