The desire of his heart was to establish sustainable medical clinics in rural parts of Africa that would serve as a vehicle to decrease the prevalence of diseases in any given location by using health education, immunization, and reprogramming the thought and practices of traditional healthcare givers through workshops and seminars. With this in mind, Arms of Care International was created in 2004.
Touched by the number of uninsured patients, and especially ministers of religion that daily come to him for assistance, Dr. O. Michael Obiekwe felt compelled to do something about it.
OUR MISSION We deliver healthcare by conducting medical missions, providing education, and empowering communities in collaboration with relevant organizations to build capacity, while sharing the love of Christ and supporting discipleship.
In a world often marked by division and hardship, the simple act of helping one another holds incredible power. Whether it’s offering your time, resources, or compassion, supporting others can spark meaningful change in communities and across the globe.
